Temporomandibular articulation

Temporomandibular articulation

Solve all discomfort caused by the Temporomandibular Joint

This joint is named after the two joints that form it: the temporal bone and the jaw.

Dentists have long known that dysfunctions of this joint often cause symptoms in areas far from the joint itself.

Headaches, back pains, shoulders, are often relieved after ATM dysfunctions are corrected. Even the latest medical evidence shows that ATM can cause functional problems throughout the body.

Through different tests of Posturology and Applied Kinesiology we will be able to reveal whether it is a dysfunction proper to the ATM and may be producing alterations in other areas of the body, or if, on the contrary, it is the imbalances in other joints that result in symptoms in ATM.

Symptoms

Some of the main symptoms we can act on from treatment with physiotherapy and teasopathy include:

  • Jaw pain
  • Feeling fatigued in the jaw
  • Difficulty opening your mouth
  • Itching or beeping in the ears
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Cervicalgia
  • Jaw clicks
  • Blocks

It is very useful as a complement to orthodontic treatment.
