What is P-dtr and how does it work?

Pdtr is a treatment system based on the application of functional neurology through the manipulation of the different nerve receptors distributed by the body.

In the human body there are many highly specialized nerve receptors (for mechanical, chemical, painful, thermal, etc.) stimuli and distributed among many structures such as: muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascial tissue, skin, mucous membranes, Etc.

These receptors have the function of informing the nervous system of how we relate to our environment and detecting potential threats.

When we suffer trauma and are accompanied by tissue damage, it will damage some tissues such as ankle ligaments. And these damaged tissues initiate a process of repair and healing.

However, sometimes, even if the healing time has elapsed and the tissue has been repaired correctly, the symptomatology persists and/or compensation appears in other joints (knee, hip, pelvis or lumbar spine) that may occur with limited mobility and pain. 

These trade-offs are often the result of a brain-created strategy to protect us from a threat. Even if the threat is no longer present, we may encounter dysfunctional receptors that provide an altered signal and condition an incorrect response of the nervous system, resulting in symptomatology.

With Pdtr we focus on restoring the information channels between the nervous system and other structures to promote optimal muscle and joint function, balanced, without joint pain or limitations.
