AS WORK

Any dysfunction in one part of the body can, thanks to the transmission of information through the Nervous System, produce symptoms in another area of the body.

The human body performs a large number of functions, all connected them through the Nervous System, which is responsible for the correct interaction between different functions and systems. In this way, it may happen that an alteration in a viscera, for example can produce, through altered information, a variation in the tone muscle in another related area and end up producing joint stiffness and pain.

When only a classic musculoskeletal approach is used and these relationships are not taken into account, we may find that we are providing the patient with symptomatic relief for a limited duration and relapses occur.

I use an integrative and global method, based on the diagnosis of the patient's neuromuscular status:

I make a posturological examination to demonstrate alterations of the tono muscular as a result of poor processing of information that postural captors (eyes, feet, vestibular system, etc.) are sending to the nervous system, creating interferences in the control of posture and global muscle tone.

Through specific muscle tests I try to find imbalances in the joints that these muscles cross and, through different stimuli applied to different organs and related systems, find out if they are related to these tone dysfunctions that are secondarily responsible for the pain.

Once the relationships are established and the root of the problem is found, we will proceed to the treatment based on different manipulations of the dysfunctional area, whether: musculoskeletal, visceral, cranial or directly on the different receptors of the nervous system. This approach based on communication with the nervous system of the patient allows me to understand the nature of the problem and focus on the root of it, reducing relapses and improving the quality of life of the people I work with.
